Seths Grandma Llewellyn flew down from New Jersey for the week-hence the Bryce Canyon trip, sadley at the last minute Seth couldn't make cause his business is so busy (mixed blessing). That is why I took my old college roomate Heather instead of Seth to the Bockholt Family Reunion- definitly non traditional but it turned out really fun. Seth still really wanted to see his Grandma- it had been 3.5 years- so we made a trip down to Orem. One would think that this wouldn't be significant but it is the first time is the begining of May that Seth has taken a Day off (yes that even includes Sunday-no constuction just office work) so it was awsome to spend so much uninterupted time with him that didnt invove talking about work (I now do the books for CLD). This pic is at Sundance, we took the tram which I had never done with out a snowboard attached to my feet so it was pretty cool.

Bridal Veil Falls - Kyla was so happy despite the 90 degree heat. We like Logans 80 degree weather!
Of course what is a day in the canyon without a picnic. Katryn (Krystals babe) seems to enjoy Kyla's blabber and hand waving, Im so glad they are so close in age.
So we have 2 adult labs and 12 lab pups (which are ready to sell now-spread the word if you know someone interested in a AKC lad pup) and we couldn't leave them in Hyrum or ask someone to watch-could you imiagine someone calling and saying will you babysit 14 dogs and feed/water them about 6 times a day? yeah right. We attempted to put all dogs in the back of Seth's big Doge but with all their parifiniala (wow cant spell) they didn't fit. Then my little problem solver remembered he had so extra sod and top soil soooo we layed sod in our dump trailor which could probably carry my car if needed. Then we put a baby swimming pool of water and a couple dog travel kennels. Our dogs definitly travel in style!
The funny thing is -definitly not funny at the time- the truck died in the middle of Sardine Canyon. We had had some work done on it prior to the trip and they screwed up -Seth could give you detials but I dont know a thing about trucks. We could tell the truck was dieing so I called my wonderful neighbor Heidi and told her to come pick up Kyla and I since we would probably get towed. My phone call with her cut off 1/2 way through when I lost service ahhhh! Thankfully a cop pulled up behind us -turned out to be one of our many cop neighbors and let us use his phone to figure things out. His face was priceless when I told him the contents of our trailor. Oh yeah -not to mention that our registration had expired; we renewed it but accidently left the stickers at home. He was a nice cop and took our word for it. So when Heidi arrived with her three kids she offered to help with the dogs too. We fit 2 adults, four kids (all in car seats) and 14 dogs into her minivan. I would have nerver believerd we would all fit! Seth got a ride home with the cop while Big Red was being towed back to the mechanics. Then he had to pick up one of the other trucks and go retreive the trailor. (Truck damages totalled around 3,000-the mechanics admitted their mistake and are fixing it for free)
The dump trailor the 14 dogs were in.
