Snow

I sometimes wonder why we live here. Its the last day of March practically and we have lots of snow. Of course we had to play in it and build a snowman. It took all of Kylas concentration to walk in the snow.

The snowman. Lets just say I cant remember the last time I made one. Kyla wasnt any help, she just wanted to eat him and point to his eyes, hat, nose etc. On the plus side you dont get too cold when your 6months pregnant.

Baby Boy

So this is probably a little weird to post but... This is my little munchkin's face. He continues to not have a name (all Seth fault) and this is probably the last I will see of him till he is born. No more ultasounds -sad because they're fun good because this means he is now declared healthy! No more problems. Yay!

Kyla Kyla Kyla

Kyla has a "big girl bed" Its just a twin mattress on the floor but she cant climb any higher than that so it works perfectly. We put her in it a week or two ago and so far its been a really easy transition. We had planned to do this later but before baby #2 was born (didnt want to buy another crib) but we cleaned our basement and had it upstairs so we figured why not. She is really good about staying in bed at night. Of couse she has to walk to the door and make sure it is really shut but then goes back into her bed to sleep. Nap time is a different story. She'll read for an hour or so in her room instead of taking a nap so she gets to stay in the crib for those.

Seth and Kyla always seem to come up with interesting outfits. She loves to accessorise!

Somehow there are two of these pics. Oops

Skatebording lessons start early in this family.

Kyla and Grandpa. She loves to play in his Jeep.

This shirt was made for me when I was a baby. Looks cute on her too.

Kyla LOVES all her stuffed animals. She is a good hugger.

In Memory of...

Poor Hokahey went to puppy heaven where he will never run out of PVC pipe to chew on or bunnies to chase. He was getting too aggressive so we made a really hard decision and decided to put him down. Very crappy day yesterday. We'll miss our little guy!

The Good News

So 2 weeks ago at my ultrasound they found a major, life threatning problem with the babys lungs. (Plueral Effusion) Its VERY rare only about 1 in 15,000 so my doc had to refer me to a specialist and I had that appointment today. They did an extensive ultrasound and found that his plueral effusion has spontaniously healed. This only happens 10% of the time so it was awsome to have it happen to me especially so quickly. Now his lungs should have time to develope before he is born, his heart wont be stopped by compression, I wont have to deliver at Primary Childrens hospital, he wont have one lung-if he survived, and no high risk surgeries to the baby while he's in my belly. Im so so happy and relieved. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.

Grand Targhee

For some reason I can never get the pics in the right order. Above is Kaylee with Kyla petting the horsey. Kyla still REALLY loves horseys.

My baby's hair is getting long and curly.

She thought she was "pitty" (pretty) in my coat and wanted to wear it. She also really wanted to sit in this chair like a big girl and stayed there for about 30 min. This is at Kaylees house.

My mom and Kyla during the buggy ride.

Part of the massive conference room we rented at the Grand Targhee resort. The snowboard runs end at the entrance to the hotel so it was pretty cool. Everyone was there except Chantal and Bren but they did come up for part of the time and we stayed at there apt in Rexburg for a night and they let us stay in their King size bed. So nice.

Kaylee, my mom, and Kyla.

Watching Kung Fu Panda one of Kylas favorite "moomees"

The parents/grandparnts who made this fabulous winter trip possible.

The group. Kyla and I didnt snowboard for obvious reasons. I had to convince my dad that the baby pink snowboard he wanted to get her was probably a bit "too old" for Kyla this season so she got snow pants instead and had a good time sliding down hill on her bum.

Ahhh another family picture.

Little Miss Kyla

She just has grown up too fast!
The jacket her aunt Kaylee got her from Chile. Kyla now loves to say "coat" and then brings me one to wear.

One morning she somehow managed to do this to herself.

This is a portible speaker. Kyla likes to carry aroung her music everywhere she goes. Its a great tracking device.

Drawing is her favorite thing to do, sadly right now her drawings take after her mothers.
