Heres to you Kaylee

Holy Technical Difficulties. This is supposed to be after the post below this one. But my computer is mixing up all my pictures so everything is very mix matched. Sorry. Kyla watching the fireworks on New Years

My Dad has a bit of a problem when it comes to explosives...pyro.

After I had my ultrasound we (my mom and me) took Kyla on the Merry-go-round. Once it started moving she was terrified, not crying but making all sorts of nervous noises and had a death grip on me. Of course as soon it was over she wanted to give her horsey a kiss.

Kyla all big and brave before the merry go round started. Making horse noises and pointing at everything. She was very good at holding the gold bar until the horse started moving.

New Years Family Pic What a shame that Im the only one looking at the camera. Oh well. (that isnt a scarf wrapped around my head)

Kyla and her cousin Shelby New Years Eve she was dancing and shaking her little hiny for everyone. She love to dance.

Me and my cousin Jana

Kyla and my parents dog Powder. She loved going to see Powder and giving her hugs and kisses

This is our tradition on New Years Eve. We build snowman but then we kill them with fire. This lucky guy got flaming wreaths on his head. AHhh good times.

Christmas morning

Kaylee and Scott had a Baby!!!!

Are you supposed to look this cute on Christmas Morning?!

Our dog Roxy. Since we were out of town for a while we had to bring our dogs. Roxy is trying to get in on the Christmas action.

Christmas morning....I think Seth might kill someone if there are more pictures taken.

Longest Post Ever

Kyla realizing she has no hands.

Christmas Morning. She LOVED that horsey!

Kyla visiting Santa and she not quite sure what she is supposed to do.

Wondering why he is not saying HO HO HO like her parents told her he would.

Ahhhh Blackberries and Whip Cream I think this was Christmas Eve. Blackberries are by far Kylas favorite food.

Wow so its been a month since I last posted. A lot has happened with Seths Birthday, Kylas 1st Birthday, Christmas, Santa, New Years and the pregnancy. Ill try to catch up. Ive been dreading the blog lately, mostly since Ive been dreading everything that is not essential to life...and even then....I think its cause the pregnancy hormones/sick time. I get to blame everything on those right? But now that Im being harrassed soI figured Id post plus I have news......

ITS A BOY!!!!!

Totally excited now Ill have one of each so the pressure is off (not that there really was any). I thought it was a boy too except I kept thinking it would be nice to have a girl-then we wouldnt have to buy a thing- but alas now I get to get more baby clothes. Oh how fun. Seth is excited and coming up with bizare names. He thinks he gets to name the baby since its a boy, at first I thought okay but then he came up with names like Ragnar, Lanbe, Wolfgar, and other ones I dont think there are real letters for. So perhaps I will not let him near the birth certificate when the time comes. I guess this is what happens when your spouse is obsessed with acient history. Anyway here is the pic of the little one.

The rest of the pics are not in any order but Ill lable then for you

Thanksgiving Break

Today we got our Christmas tree and ended up decorating it while Kyla was asleep. She was soooo excited when she woke up it made me glad we still went with a full size tree (I was pondering a mini tree for easyness sake). She sat at the base of the tree the rest of the night, playing with ornamints, and trying to kiss the branches (which would make her scrunch up her nose since pine needles tend to be poky).

Kyla and two of my cousins Kylie and Eliza. The bath started out nice and calm and ended up in chaos. My grandparents (Volmer) and my uncle Josh and Ben and their fams came to my moms house for thanksgiving. It was our year to eat at the inlaws so Kaylee and Bren were away, and the Bockholts didnt host their dinner till Sunday so it worked out so we could come and see the relatives. Thanksgiving was also our 4 year anniversary so my mom watched Kyla while Seth and I went to a hotel. It was sooo nice and relaxing. It does seem strange to think that Ive been pregnant our last 3 anniversaries. Crazy. Another thing that happened this weekend is that Kyla is now walking everywhere. In strange new places/slippery places she will still crawl but she is walking able to turn around and change directions without falling and everything.

Kyla after we got home from taking family pics on Sat.

Bow Fest. I need a bin of bows at home....who needs toys?

Kyla and Liza getting into Grandma Mindy's office drawers.

The Bockholt family. We did a Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday so everyone could be there. Plus Seths birthday is tomorow so we celebrated a little on Sun with his family.

Kyla Nov Update

These are those yogurt drops, normally Kyla HATES things on her face or head but for some reason she thought it was great when Seth stuck all these to her face.

Kyla is walking toward me in her pink bear suit. She can walt across the living room without problems but for long distances or if she wants to get somewhere fast she will still crawl.

This is today. I woke up to the sound of our mixer; Seth was busy in the kitchen and had made three different kinds of cookies from scratch! A pecan ginger bread type cookie, coconut sugar cookies (with rum extract instead of vanilla so they are more pirate like or something), and coffee cookies. Then he made me dinner. Awsome. Seth had NEVER made cookies before but as everything he cooks, it turned out fabulous. Kyla ate a lot of cookie dough from the beaters. She was pretty happy about it.

I couldnt resist taking this pic, she was smilling in her sleep and sleeping in such a cute little way.

A little while ago Kyla went with Seth to viset our parents (I was working and he wanted to go hiking so Kyla spent the day with both grandmas) When they came back they had all this new stuff with them. Seths mom had given her a cute purple coat, my mom baked me muffins and other yummy foods, there was a new book, and Summer had come over and given her 2 of the CUTEST baby bows ever (Baby Bling Bows). This is one of them. Kyla kept trying to take it off, look at it, and then put it back on again.

Year of the Witches

Lucky for us Halloween was on a Friday so we came down to join the festivites. We all were witches, my mom even dressed up which is a first since I can remember. Kaylee and Scott came down too and I wish I had a pic of Scott he was hallarious-Kaylee will post a pic I'm sure. Chantal and Bren were there too. It was also soooo warm, reminded my of my childhood Halloweens in Palm Desert, CA where you didnt have to consider the weather for you costume.

Kyla is a bat. The cape and ears were worn by all us McRae kids, my mom made it for me when I was a babe. I made the skirt. It has bats on it and is super cute (very proud of my skills). Her stocking match mine so I had to get them, and Chantal made the scarf which she adores and tries to wear all day still.

The Feaky Couple. Im pretty sure my dad only made a few kids wet their pants this year.

The sisters

In the afternoon we went to Kristy and Walts house for some goodies. Glynneth made homemade rootbeer and it has a big hit with the grandkids. Kristy made pumpkin pie and I normally hate pie crust of any kind but hers was fablous! Glynneth also wore an awsome Halloween witch costume.

Me and Kaylee

This is our Fam and yes I had to force Seth to dress up and this is what he comes up with. Ill work on him for next year.
